Yes, when taking our private tours, you, your friends and your family will enjoy the exclusive use of a car or van with a personal local English-speaking tour guide in Tibet usually from 9:00am to 6:00pm for the tour you have booked.

The local tour guide will meet you at your midtown hotel in Tibet. The major attractions of Tibet are included in our prearranged itinerary. If you have any special request, please tell us, we are able to have a tailor-made tour for you.

  • What travel permits do I need to apply for if I travel to Tibet?

There are several kinds of travel permits in Tibet. Firstly, you only need a TTB (Tibet Tourism Bureau) permit if you just want to have a few days in Lhasa city or some places near Lhasa.

Secondly, if you want to travel outside of Lhasa, like Mt. Everest, Tsedang, Nyingchi, you need PSB (Public Security Bureau) permit for which we could help you to apply for.

  • When do I need to apply for the Tibet travel Permit?

You need to apply for the travel permit at least 15-20 days prior to your entry date, which means you should prepare all the information and documents in hand before this period of time.

  • How much is a Tibet permit?

Please note that we never just sell a permit as this is illegal. We only help you apply a permit from the TTB. The cost of a permit includes both the charge by the government and the service fees by our travel agency.
