  Huashi Mosque

  Covered 2,000 square meters, the Beijing Huashi Mosque is one of the four largest mosques in Beijing, which has the featured structures: the prayer hall, the pavilion, Jinggu hall, the moon platform, a teaching room.

  At present, the walls of the hall are engraved with the Koran and the roof is a hexagonal skylight.

  Beijing Madian Mosque

  The Madian Mosque is a typical Chinese traditional courtyard. It has features: the prayer hall, teaching rooms, two stone steles.

  The hall is covered with green carpet and colorful jade and its walls hung with various Arabic writing plaque.

  Great Mosque of Xian

  Close to Drum Tower in Xian, the Great Mosque is really well worth a trip to see, for its centuries-old history and particular architecture mixed traditional Muslim and Chinese styles.

  Its hall can easily hold 1,000 prayers at a time. Prayer are held five times each day respectively at dawn, noon, afternoon, dusk and night.
