My name is Will Wei, a local guy of Beijing. I am working at Beijing Holiday as a travel advisor. Before that, I have years of working experience on different field such as tourism, education, international trade, publishing industry, etc.
I love learning new stuff, traveling, exercise, jogging and hiking etc. I have traveled in some cities around China.
Apart from Beijing --- my hometown, Hangzhou is one of my favorite cities in China. The beautiful scenery and comfortable climate are unforgettable. Of course, Beijing city is the most important part in my heart, for she has more than 3,000 years of history and over 800 years of Capital city in several dynasties.
I love showing my beautiful motherland to the rest of world. Welcome, my friends, I will be here and waiting to share my wonderful country with you.
Beijing Holiday Travel Advisor --- Will Wei
On the September 8th, we took a large van from Beijing Holiday to the Mutainyu Great Wall. We are a group of 10. The van could have larger windows and a little more leg room, but it was fine, because it is brand new. Our tour guide Ben was excellent. Well spoken, knowledgeable and personal can not be used to described him.
I would use them again - 100%.

Mr. Will organized a terrific 8 days tour of Beijing, Shanghai and Suzhou for us, a group of 5 people in late July. They did a super tour job in Beijing, and we climb the Badaling Great Wall in the third day. When we were in Shanghai, he arranged a Shanghai acrobats for us. Our tour to Suzhou is to visit the Tongli water town, which has a history of more than 1,000 years. In the town, the stone bridges shock my heart: each bridge has its own special name and its artistic style. Will and the guide are always informative, friendly, reliable, patient. This is a pleasure all the way through!

Hi Will,
Thanks for your prompt reply. The rearrange is ok. Please be so kind as to to plan for the whole journey of vegetarian meals for my wife. Thank you very much. I toke this way to inform you, because all e-mails I sent directly from my account to you are blocked by your account. I always got a Report of fail. I hope, yout get this note.
With the best wishes.

7 Days Lhasa and Namtso Lake Tour by train from Beijing, organised by is one of the most enjoyable tours we have participated in. It was very well planned and took us from Beijing to travel on the highest railway in the world - Qinghai-Tibet Railway for the gorgeous landscapes outside of the window of train. After arrival at Lhasa railway station, we had a good day rest to adapt to the high altitude. The second day, we visited the top sites of Lhasa city: Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street with a local tour guide. The following days we were arranged to have a excursion to the holy Namtso Lake.
The hotels provided were upto the expected standards in Lhasa. Your tour advisor Will were excellent e-mail communicators. He were very prompt and accurate in his dealings and arranging this excellent tour quite easy. We can recommend Beijing Holiday as a very reliable tour company to anyone who wishes to visit China.
Lilliam Malave, 2014-04-23
We enjoyed our Beijing & Guilin tour very much. Not only for the scenery of destinations you arranged, but also we highly enjoyed your company with our local guide Mark in Beijing and Li in Guilin. Mark is very knowledgeable of Beijing and took us to visit the all sites in the tour. We learnt a lot from him about Beijing ancient culture. In Guilin, our guide is Li. She is such a patient and helpful guide, very pleased to meet her.
We were very happy using Beijing Holiday tours, and we highly recommend this company to all tourists to China. It was very pleasant tour

In the late February, I had the opportunity to travel to Guilin with Will as my one-on-one travel advisor, not only was he extremely organized and helpful, but my time in Guilin was great thanks to him. As I am an exchange student studying in Shanghai, China, I have traveled all popular sites in and around Shanghai and wanted to travel South of China, Guilin. Mt. Will understood my time and money are limited and helped me to have the most enjoyable experience possible.
Guilin is home to the most beautiful mountains and waterways on earth, as the Chinese saysing, and I would have to agree! In my 3-day Guilin and Yangshuo Tour, I was impressed by the picturesque Li River, both sides of which are really a Chinese painting. I highly recommend Beijing Holiday to anyone wanting to to Guilin or China as a whole! Thanks again, all of you.

My husband and I arranged tours for our trip to Beijing with Beijing Holiday. Leading up to our trip, we emailed to them. They replied promptly and completely, and always willing to help us out.
We did the "3 Days Beijing Essence Tour Package" with Will and it was fantastic. Everything was will organised, from being picked up and dropped off from the airport to 3 day tour itself. Will organised to get to locations when they were not as busy and was very knowledgeable about everything. The 3 days tour meant that we saw everything in Beijing, such as Summer Palace, Mutianyu and Ming Tombs, Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven. Will was very thoughtful, friendly and spoke perfect English. Having a personal driver was very convenient and made our trips very comfortable. We got a lot of value for monery as everything was include in the cost; all entrance fees, transport and lunch was included. I definitely recommend Beijing Holiday!

We booked the classic itinerary "13 days China best with Yangtze cruise" of Beijing Holiday. From the start of the planning till the end of our trip, Beijing Holiday offered high level of service, understanding and helpful tips.
Our travel advisor Will helped us to organize a great trip best suited for our time and interests. And the result was very good!
In the beginning of December we traveled to Shanghai, spent 3 days there, 3 days at the river cruise on the Yangtze, a morning to Giant Panda, 3 days in Xian, 3 days in Beijing. We commuted mostly with flights, but we also tried the high-speed train which was quite a fun experience. Every place we visited, we were greeted with a local guide and driver.
Throughout the trip we got to see several tourist attractions such as Yuyuan Garden, the Bund, Three Gorges, Chengdu Giant Panda, Xian Terracotta Warriors and Ancient City Walls, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Forbidden City and Great Wall. We also got to experience the Chinese culture, especially on the cruise, which was a nice experience. We stayed at 5 stars hotels on the tour and our local guides arranged Chinese lunch every day. The food tasted so great.
Overall, we were very happy with Beijing Holiday. Their local guides were very flexible, helpful and knowledgeable in the tour, and their English was excellent. They did thir best to make sure we had wonderful days in China.
We are happy that we choose Beijing Holiday and thanks to all of them again.

Thank you very much to my travel advisor Jenny
A truly brilliant place to visit one of the genuine wonders of the world. Its hard work climbing the steps to a decent vantage point but well worth the effort and sense of wellbeing that comes with it. Lots of Chinese tourists found me quite entertaining and often wanted their photograph taken with me, starting with one person and often ending up with the whole family, this had to do with my novelty value as a foreigner rather than my handsome visage.
The steps are very variable in height and depth with many being badly worn, this is the busiest bit of the Great Wall as it is only a 2 hour drive from Beijing (allowing for the Beijing traffic)

I just wanted to say "Thank you" for setting up such great tours in Beijing Tiantan Park from Beijingholiday.com, thank to Will. From their help, We enjoyed my tour in Beijing.
We had the pleasure of visiting and clear and sunny day. We were glad we wore comfortable walking shoes. This park is larger than central park. It it a Big park. There are signs along the way to point out what you are seeing. There were many visitors enjoying the day. Some were dancing while others were singing.
One man was writing on the sidewalk with a wet broom. Our guide was able to translate it before it dried up.We walked through each of the monuments and still could not get past the scale of the park.

We are two adults, a twelve year old and a ten year old. Our guide was very good and knowledgable. His english was fine and he knew a lot of history. He was always happy to wait for us when we took longer than planned, particularly at the Great Wall when the kids enjoyed climbing as far up as they possibly could. What we missed out because of our own slowness, the guide, Mike, made sure that we made up for it on another day. He made sure that we got all the meals we were promised on our itinerary and being vegetarian was not a problem as he ensured we were all well catered for. we weren't pressured into buying anything we didn't want at the factories and later found out that the guides get commission when purchases are made. Mike made sure that we were not bored for a moment.
My only issue was the suggested tips. Apparently we over paid the hutong rickshaw drivers ( by about the equivilant of 3 USD) as we didn't have any loose change. This appeared to annoy the guide as we didn't tip the hutong guide ( who was excellent). We didn't know we were supposed to and I did ask the travel agent when I booked it online. She only mentioned to tip the rickshaw driver not the guide. Being of Australian culture we are not used to tipping at all which was why I asked initially. So, my advice is to be clear about expectations when it comes to tipping as it is still not clear to me. Aside from that the driver drive safely and was well mannered. One other thing is that we ate with the tourists. This wasn't a problem for us but be aware if you want to eat local food with the locals.
Cindy, 2013-02-09
We had a wonderful day with Beijingholiday.com. Great people. Perfect organization of the trip from the very first contact. My wife and I enjoyed the trip to the Great Wall immensely. Everything is organized very well. From now on if I am in China, Beijingholiday.com is the only company to organize any of my tours. Thank you to you all.

We stayed in Beijing for National Week and knew things were going to be a bit over crowded. We wanted to ensure that we got to see the Great Wall for a reasonable prices and booked with Beijing Holiday Tours ahead of time. We visited Mutianyu Great Wall and Summer Palace with a scheduled photo op at the Birds Nest/Water Cube and then a free foot massage. Our Tour Guide was great, a little fearful of somethings and oped out of climbing the wall with us but we didnt mind. He was informative and friendly but gave us space to do what we wanted to do. He also helped in negotiating prices with some of the venders near the Great Wall.
After the Great Wall he asked if we wanted to see a Textile factory. I have been in China for several months and already knew that he would make a commision by brining us there, but my friends were intersted in seeing so we agreed. I did appricate that he gave us the choice to say no if we wanted to. The factory was actually pretty cool to see and all three of us ended up buying something there! The second unplanned stop was to a tea shop for a tea ceremony which we also really enjoyed and was given the option to stop and see or skip. Because we were traveling during the festival, the foot massage had to be cancled because they had already gone home to celebrate with their families. They picked us up at 8:30 and we arrived back to the hotel around 6:30pm. It was a very fun day and one of the highlights of our trip. If we needed another tour in Beijing to be planned for us, we would go through Beijing Holiday again.
Katibug, 2012-10-09
All the arrangements that Michelle Feng made for us in Suzhou, Xi'an, and Beijing were perfect! She accommodated our desire for upscale hotels and was wonderful to work with online. When I was worried about what time a tour guide would arrive, I called her and she made sure to tell us what we needed to know.
Our tour guides were knowledgeable and friendly--so kind to us--and always on time. We hope to stay in touch with them.
The Peking duck restaurant was excellent. It would have been nice, though, if the place had been closer to our hotel. As for the Beijing food, we ate too much of it!
The cars were so clean that it was a pleasure to get into them, especially after the cold weather. The drivers made sure to keep them warm for us. Also, the drivers were careful, given the difficult traffic, and worked well with the guides.
All our accommodations were top notch. We would have preferred the Hilton Hotel to the Peninsula Hotel in Beijing, but only because we thought there were too many western boutiques (prada, tiffany, cartier) in the hotel, and the staff weren't too friendly.
We particularly liked the side trip to Suzhou and visiting the i.m. pei museum. Nothing spoiled our trip, and we would recommend Beijing Holiday to all our friends.

Hi Will,
We are finally back in the airport leaving Beijing. I would just want to let you know that we had a fabulous time in Beijing. Ms Snow and Mr Hang have both been so wonderful and gracious to us during our stay. I commend your company for having 2 great employees and we would recommend them both to all our friends. Ms Snow has been extra helpful to us from start to finish. Ms Snow is so knowledgable and accommodated all our questions regarding every place we saw. I believe that your tour guide is the best way to go n visiting Beijing. Thank you so much for all your help and hope to do business with you again.
Abigail Nilsson, 2011-12-13
Hi Will,
your responses were always prompt, informative and helped me to organized my stay in Beijing a great deal. Thank you!
The tour guide who did Beijing city tour for us was very nice, very helpful, very accommodating. She helped us to get tickets to one of the shows in Beijing and we are grateful for her for that. She also helped to find a hat that my daughter left at one of the shopping stops by sending the driver for it while we were sightseeing the Summer palace, I believe. The bus and the driver were very good too.
We also appreciate our guide calling the hotel the night before and confirming the tour reservation. That provided an assurance that our Beijing plans were still on. Thank you!
Anna Budnyatsky, 2011-12-07
When my husband and I returned from China, to say that it was the trip of a lifetime would be a gross understatement. I never wanted to return from this one! We felt that we had gained so much knowledge of China and its people, and with it a new appreciation and understanding for a world very different from our own.
Penny, 2011-06-29
My 12 Days China contrast tour with Beijing Holiday was excellent which ticked all the boxes for us. The guides in Beijing, Xian, Guilin and Shanghai were all very knowledgeable and great ambassadors for their country. They are very passionate about China, its history and its culture.
I would have no hesitation in booking another tour with Will, and will happily recommend the company to friends and family.
Pratik Shinde, 2011-05-22
The best tour guide we have had anywhere in the world without her help we would not have seen the things or done the things we did.
We would definitely recommend your company to anyone visiting Beijing.
Ron REARDON, 2011-05-05
I would definitely recommend Beijing Holiday tours and I enjoyed my Beijing sideway trip very much.
My tour guide was Canadian English speaking and he was sooo wonderful!
Jacob Rastegar, 2011-05-05
Contact was always quick and we were so pleased with the tour that was created for us. The whole experience was very personal, which we loved.
Our guide (Snow) was just brilliant. She was fun, knowledgeable, and engaging. We felt relaxed around her at all times, and could really enjoy our tour. He knowledge was very thorough, and we learnt far more than we'd anticipated. Snow helped further customize our tour, and ensured that it was all we could have wanted it to be.
Roast duck was great! All the food was great! We ate HEAPS during the trip.
The car was always clean and tidy, and our driver was friendly and helpful. He even tried to learn a few English words for us.
Beautiful hotel, with an amazing breakfast. The only thing i'd have wanted from them is a vase to store the gorgeous flowers we were given on arrival. The hotel didn't have a vase, so we had to make one to keep the flowers alive.
We had the most perfect honeymoon thanks to this tour. Everything was well organised, and structured. Thanks soo much to Will for all her help, and emails!! We really appreciate it.
Allison French, 2011-04-29
My wife and I had the best time in Beijing and would recommend to use your company anytime. I like to special mention that we enjoyed the company, Jeff our tour guide and Jason our driver very much. I rated all of your service as the best, from Will to our meals.
Urs Muller, 2011-04-27
The communications with our trip advisor Will prior to the tour were first class.
Our tour guide, Lucy, was very knowledgable and accomodating, her English was very good. Lucy tried really hard to ensure everyone had just what they needed.
The food during our trip was very good and there was plenty of it.
The food was very good and there was plenty of it.

Getting Lost in the lanes around Beijing’s Back Lakes!
No other city in the world has anything quite like the hutong, narrow lanes once “as numberless as the hairs on an ox.” Now rapidly vanishing, the best-preserved hutong are found around a pair of man-made lakes in the city center. This area is almost the last repository of Old Beijing’s gritty, low-rise charm, dotted with tiny temples, hole-in-the-wall noodle shops, and quiet courtyard houses whose older residents still wear Mao suits.
Jane Straub, 2011-04-19
On behalf of the six people in our group, I want to thank you for organizing our trip. We have been fully satisfied. The guides were well adapted to the personalities and expectations of each member of the group, and everyone came back fulfilled.
China, for the little we have discovered, is an amazing country with breathtaking landscapes, avant-garde cities with continuing local traditions and economic strength ... not to mention the laughter and smiles of its people. Our desire is to continue to discover more.
Christiane & René Kremer, 2011-01-12
"This was our first group trip as a family. Having traveled with BeijingHoliday before as a couple we were pretty sure it would go well, but you never know with kids. Our boys say this was the best trip they have ever taken and they loved everything about it - learning about a new country, the biking, the food, having fun with other families, and most of all - the great leaders! Our leaders made it easy for all the kids on the trip to become fast friends and for the parents to find time to relax. We'll definitely be doing another family BeijingHoliday trip again soon!"
Holly Morris, 2011-01-11
"BeijingHoliday is the way to travel - it was great having all the logistics taken care of. We could just relax and enjoy the trip. The sights were incredible and the activities fun. My children, ages 6-17, all had a wonderful vacation. I cannot say enough nice things about our leaders - they were awesome."

First, Mr. Wei, thank you for arranging the itinerary to mostly help realize my great dream of visiting and enjoying China -- especially Beijing and Xi'an.
Would like to provide some feedback/evaluation of my stay here -- commenting on the guides and drivers in Beijing and Xi'an: both the guide and driver in Beijing have been extraordinarily wonderful. Jenny brings a superb skill to her position that reflects well on your agency and China. She is courteous, kind, able to answer questions with ease, and adds a nice sense of humor to our tours. She is surely a positive influence, always making sure that my entire experience here proceeds well. Jenny is knowledgeable about the area, thoughtful about me as a visitor, and intelligent in guiding me, and considerate. Our Beijing driver is also quite pleasant. He is quite capable of navigating the often difficult traffic and making sure we arrive safely to all of our destinations, doing so and a completely pleasant and polite manner. Very, very pleased with your Beijing crew that you assigned to guide me.
One topic that might be helpful -- is reducing the amount of "factory" tours -- which are actually shops -- and do not necessarily add pleasure nor worthwhile experiences to my travels in China. They seem to be only designed to have me buy items. My reason for coming to China was to visit and see China -- not to buy it (or purchase unnecessary products under pressure -- from it).
There is still much, much more to see and do in Beijing, Xi'an, and indeed all of China -- hoping to be able to visit here in the future.
Thanks again, Mr. Wei. Hope the rest of your summer is pleasant.
TC,
/Dr. Steven G. Cameron

Dear Will Wei,I appreciated your excellent service. I especially want to mention the tour guides who helped us, and the drivers. They taken very good care of me and my son.Thank you for all you did make our trip a success.

Thank you very much for arranging such a wonderful trip for me. I have come to Beijing for several times, but I feel like this trip being the best one I ever have. Your professional tour guide has provided us top-class service and I have gained much more knowledge about ancient Forbidden City and Summer Palace.
Mrs. Zouhar, 2009-11-25
Because of you, we have unforgettable memory of our trip to Beijing. We will remember the ancient history that surrounded us contrasted by the rapidly developing modern China! Our tour guide is intelligent, professional and humorous! We like him very much!
Mr. Brain, 2009-11-24
Thank you very much for providing the enchanting tour in Beijing, China. We went to the Forbidden City, Badaling Great Wall, the Temple of Heaven and Lama Temple, each attraction left us deep impression. Hotels are very comfortable, and meals are very delicious. In addition, I and my wife, as well as my two friends also want to express gratitude to Max, our considerate tour guide. If get the chance, we will come to Beijing again and hope to get your even better service then.
Michael Haufe, 2009-11-06
Thank you very much for a terrific tour of your fine city. We had a wonderful time with Beijingholiday. Our guide was great, always on time, happy and knowledgeable. We saw all the great attractions and highlights in Beijing. Our hotels were spacious and comfortable. We will be glad to come to Beijing with your company again.
Mrs. Liana Kang-Shcmitz & Mrs. Uta Reich, 2009-10-31
For us, Beijing is the first city of this trip to China. We, 12 persons, arrived at Beijing in the morning of the 20th of October, 2009; we were very glad and lucky to be received by Will, a very gentleman-like tour guide from BeijingHoliday. He took us to hike on Badaling Great Wall and visit Ming Tombs and so on, although hiking on the great wall is very tired, we all felt very excited. The old saying says, "One who fails to reach the Great Wall is not a hero" but each of us is proud of being a true man, because we got to the top, Hah! In one word, traveling in Beijing brings us many unforgettable memories. So, here, I shared my feelings on behalf of the others. And thank you very much again for your good service.
Regina Danielmeyer, 2009-10-21
I am writing to express our great thanks for your excellent service. My husband and I took a trip in Beijing with you in September. Although it is the first time for us to travel with your company, we think your service is very professional. The sceneries you arranged for us are attractive and your tour guides and drivers are very warm-hearted and considerate. The international hotel is also very comfortable to stay, too. Traveling with your company, we feel very enjoyable and need to worry nothing.
Mr.Brehm Herbert, 2009-09-26
Thanks you for booking such a lovely trip to China. Everything went smoothly, with good hotels, good food, good guides and drivers. Your team did a great job. I need one thing. Please provide me with the airline ticket numbers (16 digit), booking class, and seat numbers for two of my children. Again here are my many thanks and best wishes.
Joel Bleicher, 2008-07-13
Thank you for all the arrangements you made for our tour in China, it all went very well but for one place. All the hotels were very good - both in their quality as well for location. The only exception was the hotel in Guilin, it was definitely not of the same category as the other hotels. A resort hotel, built in more then one level should have an elevator - this one does not have and the rooms are far from the category of the other hotels we stayed in during the rest of the tour.
Pablo Komorowsky, 2008-05-08
Your company was the first company I have ever used that offered travel packages that cater to small groups and in my case for ONE person and I can not tell you how GREAT that was for me. I've been traveling around the world on my own lately but I was afraid to tackle China by myself and if I had not seen your website I still may not have made it to China. You really put together the BEST itinerary for me to see the most of China in two weeks. ALL the travel arrangements, flights, hotels, meals, etc. were GREAT. (And the fact that - I - didn't have to make the arrangements myself was a major plus) I could not have asked for anything else. ALL your travel guides were Intelligent, Professional, and knowledgeable and believe me when I say they define: Customer Service!!!! And I have to tell you Will, I was soooooooo thankful that you assigned Jeff to be the FIRST person I met in China.
Susan Laws, 2008-04-27
We flew in over Beijing at around 9:30pm on New Year's Eve and the view was astounding. As far as we could see there were fireworks exploding EVERYWHERE! We were able to watch the festivities from the balcony at our hostel once we arrived. At midnight there were fireworks exploding every couple hundred feet on every block everywhere in Beijing. By fireworks we don't mean bottle rockets, we mean the giant exploding flowers and mortars they use in the professional shows in the US. Here, everybody can buy those same fireworks from the street vendors. It was absolutely amazing!
Ralph A. Drees, 2008-03-04
We started our ride around the new, amazing National Theater building. We circled it and admired its egglike profile. It looks like a huge button, or a shiny smooth humbao. Then we made our way back towards Tienmen square and once again rode slowly and with confidence in an even larger bikelane, designed to hold thousands of cyclists at once. We passed the two biggest sights in modern day communism, Tienmen Square and Mao’s huge portrait. They seemed jovial and fun from the back of a bike made for cruising. Mao seemed to be grinning his approval at us as we passed. We rode back through the narrow lanes of more hutongs, admiring the familial energy emanating from open doorways and smells of cooking dinner sizzling through dark, noisy little windows. The setting sun cast the grey allys with golden light. The trees above were filled with birdsong and rustling breeze. We realized, somewhere on the ride back, that we might actually come to love Beijing"
Robert A. Barton, 2008-03-01
After a bike around Hou Hai and Qian Hai (cute little lake area with shops, bars and restaurants around the waterfront) we enter Beihai park where the 9 dragon screen turns out to have a bonus 9 extra dragons on the back side. Finally we make it down to Tiananmen Square and our first stop was the Forbidden City. Besides the obvious beauty (amazing imperial architecture) and historical importance (24 emperors ruled from its confines for almost 500 years), the names of the various halls and palaces were the best part. Clearl the name 'Forbidden City' in itself invokes a lot to think about, but once inside this garden of Eden you can find yourself walking through the Halls of Supreme Harmony, Mental Cultivation, Imperial Peace, and Union or entering the Palaces of Heavenly Purity, Earthly Tranquility, Eternal Harmony, Abstinence (an odd one I thought...), or Peaceful Longevity. Regardless of where in the Forbidden City you find or lose yourself, the one constant is the awe the place leaves you in.
Mike Danko, 2008-01-06
My wife and I visited the China last year. Although we've been waiting to travel to China for a long time, it was a sudden decision to visit the country last year. A Chinese friend of us invited us to his wedding. Getting our visa expedited at a visa service in Houston, we started our trip to China. My friend showed us around Beijing. It was so great to see the Great Wall of China! Our journey to Guilin was handled by Beijing Mandarin International Tours Co., Ltd. Their service is good.
Robert M. Raitt, 2007-12-12
China is beautiful and fascinating! Our tour visited Beijing with sights including the Forbidden City, Tian An Men Square and Temple of Heaven, Badaling at the Great Wall of China, the terracotta warriors at Xian, a four day cruise along the River Yangste and Yangste Gorges, as well as Shanghai, including silk and jade factories, a Chinese school and a Chinese theatre and museums.
Martin Godbout, 2007-12-08
It took me more than two long holidays in China to experience all the aspects of this vast and diverse country, which teems with billions of people and is bursting with awesome sights. From the legendary Silk Road and the remote monasteries in the highlands of Tibet to the bewildering Forbidden City at Beijing, the wonder of the Great Wall, the ranks of Terracotta Warriors at X'ian, and the intriguing streets of Shanghai, The People's Republic of China is one of the world’s most spectacular destinations. I really enjoyed the trip last year with Mandarin International Tours.
