My Detailed Itinerary

After breakfast, I was met and picked up at Chongwen Men hotel by our tour guide around 9:00am. And then, was driven to the Beijing Zoo to say "Hello" to the lovely pandas.

Subsequently, I went to visit the splendid Summer Palace. After lunch, moved on to a local fresh water pearl market. Then driven to the Olympic Village to take some photos of the "Bird's Nest" (National Stadium) and the "Water Cube" from the outside.

It has a capacity of 80,000, and the farthest seat is 460 feet from center field.

Later, proceed to the Nationalities Park (Chinese Ethnic Culture Park). I had the opportunity to enjoy the typical Chinese Tea Ceremony in a very famous tea house nearby. After the day tour, I was escorted back to your hotel by 5:00 pm.

Yes you advertised that our trip would see the Birdsnest and we did see it but at such a distance it really wasn't worth looking at. Very disapointed in that. I even mentioned it to the guide and they drove around again but at almost the same location a
