After breakfast, our tour guide picked us up at our hotel, then drived to the Mutianyu Great Wall. We hiked the amazing section of the Wall.
Mutianyu section is known for its beautiful surrounding. It is specially famous for its Autumn Foliage. In this golden autumn, Mutianyu Great Wall is covered with brilliant red leaves and is fruitful and we enjoyed the red leaves dancing.
Mutianyu Great Wall is the most beautiful and attractive section.
We had lunch at a local restaurant at the foot of the Mutianyu Great Wall. Then drived to the Hongluo Temple. It is said that the temple is the most important Buddhist temple in northern China for the past 10 centuries, as it has served not only as a traditional buddhist place of worship, but also as a monastic center for the education of Buddhist monks.
There are many monks and abbots coming from Japan and from locations farther afield in order to study at Hongluo Temple. We came here for appreciating the red leaves. The scenery is really attractive and breathtaking.
In autumn, red leaves are all over the Hongluo hill and it turns to a very beautiful Fall Foliage scenic.
