How to Get to Lijiang?

1. By Flight

Situated at the Qihe Village, Lijiang Sanyi International Airport is about 28 kilometers from downtown Lijiang. Domestic flights of it are available to Bejing, Chengdu, Shanghai, Xian, Hangzhou, Kunming; international flights are available to Hongkong, Singapore, Taipei and Seoul. You can take taxi from airport to downtown Lijiang. The taxi fare in Lijiang is CNY 7 for the first 3 km and CNY 1.8 for each additional km.

2. By Long-Distance Bus

The Lijiang bus station is at the intersection of Mains Road and Changshui Road. It manages both Gaokuai and Normal buses. Bus to Dali, Kunming, Zhongdian, Zhongdian, Qiaotou and Shigu can be found here.

How to Get Around in Lijiang?

No vehicles are allowed to enter the ancient town. All taxis and buses runs in the new city.

1. By Public Buses

All buses are CNY 0.8, some have ticket collectors, others are help-yourself ticketing.

2. By Taxi

Small sized cars charge CNY 6 for the first 3 KM and CNY 1.6 for each additional KM, while bigger cars charge CNY 7 for the first 3 km and CNY 1.8 for each additional km.
