According to tuniu.com, the number of visitors who book the tours around the Women's Day has increased recently. Besides, group tour bookings continue to rise, as many companies and government institutions offer tours to their female employers as a reward.

The report also says visitors booking hot destinations such as Hainan, Xiamen and Yunnan have grown in number from last year. Moreover, tour prices dropped substantially compared to the Spring Festival holiday, down 10 to 60 percent. For example, the price for a six-day tour in Kunming, Dali and Lijiang for two people is about 2,700 yuan, down by 30 percent from the 3,900 yuan during the Spring Festival.
