Beijing South Railway Station Travel Guide

Beijing South Railway which firstly known as the ManjiaPu Railway Station and later the Yongdingmen Railway Station back in 1988 was re-consulted and opened in August 1, 2008.

The railway station which situated in the borders of Xuanwu District, Chongwen District and Fengtai District covers an area of 320,000 square meter which is more that the Beijing National Stadium is the largest railway station in Asia, with its 24 platforms to hold and dispatch 30,000 passengers per hour, operating Beijing-Tianjin Inter-city rail transport, high speed trains from Beijing to Qingdao, Jinan and Shanghai.
