20150816 - Private Jiuzhaigou Tour
- Name: GOH Siah Heng
- Country: Singapore
- Travel Time: Aug.6-11
- Itinerary: 4 Days Jiuzhaigou Tour from Chengdu by Road

1. Trudy of Beijing Holiday is prompt in her reply to my email. She is efficient in planning our itinerary according yo our needs.
2. Richard, our tour guide to Jiuzhaigou is efficient & knowledgeable. Driver Chu is careful & drives with safety in mind. Linda, our tour guide in Chengdu is very knowledge in China history. We end up spending 2 hours listening to her history lessons instead of one. We enjoyed it very much. She adapts to our request for change to Jinsha Museum very well. Driver Soo is very knowledgeable in locating the silk store & restaurant we wanted to visit. All of them all very courteous. It makes our tour pleasant.
3. Comparing with others tour agencies we have booked before, we will definitely recommend Beijing Holiday for its efficiently.
4. The tour arrangement is fine except the 4 star hotel Starway Hotel does not have wardrobe or toilet floor rug. The air conc/heater unit is not working. Breakfast spread is poor.
5. No additional suggestions.
6. Yes, you can use my comment.
7. Yes, your potential customers or journalist can contact me. However I will be in Melbourne, Australia from early Sept til end December. I will try to reply by email.

Mrs.Amrita (India) asked:
My husband and myself are travelling by Air China from Mumbai to Honolulu via Beijing on Dec 28. We have a 14 hour transit (arrive at 10:50am on Dec 28 and depart at 01.50am on Dec 29). On our way back on Jan 9 from Honolulu, we again have a 14 hour transit in Beijing where we arrive at 05.20am on Jan 9 and our connecting flight is at 19:40pm on Jan 9. Due to our long transit time, we were interested to do some sightseeing in Beijing. A few questions pertaining to the above: 1. Is the free visa applicable during our journey both ways and what is the procedure? 2. Can you give us tentative one day sight seeing options with prices that include pick up and drop to Airport. We would like to cover as much as possible from: Badaling Great Wall, Tiananmen square, Forbidden square, Summer palace, Temple of Heaven, Hutong tour, see a kung fu show, have local lunches and cover some shopping places!! 3. What is the mode of payment?

Carrie replied:

Emma (UK) asked:
Hi, I will transit at the Beijing airport and stay there from 3pm to 1am. I am interested a tour of the Badaling Great Wall and Forbidden City. Can I have a half day tour to visit these two places? How much would this cost? Is it ok to do this as a solo traveller? Thank you.
Oct.17,2015 19:06
Carrie replied:
Dear Emma,
I'm afraid that you could be able to visit only one place, either Badaling Great Wall or the Forbidden City, as the tourist sites usually are closed at 18:00 during the peak season and at 17:00 during the off season. There is no problem to travel as a solo traveler. I will email you the details later today. Thank you very much.
Best Regards, Carrie,
