Hi Sophia,
We have just returned from China and tour with your company.
I was very satisfied with the way our trip was handled. From our first contact you looked after us well. You tailored our trip to meet our requirements.
Our tour was great. To be met at the airport and looked after was a great comfort in an unfamiliar country. Our first guide, Pan, was so helpful and knowledgeable. He often went out of his way to ensure that we were taken care of. He is very professional and we enjoyed his company. The highlight for me in Beijing was visiting the Great Wall and walking a fair length of it.
We then took the fast train to Xian where we saw the warriors (another highlight). Our guide and driver there were very pleasant and looked after us as well.
Our final stop was Shanghai - I loved this city with it's mix of old and new architecture. Our guide there had a great sense of humour and looked after us.
We had opted for the 5 star hotels which we thought were worth the extra - all the hotels were excellent.
I would happily recommend Beijing Holiday to any of my friends planning to visit China.
The only criticism we have of our trip is that we were booked on a late train to Xian which did a lot of stops adding 2 hours to the trip. Had we been booked on the one that left about an hour earlier we would have had a shorter trip.

My husband and myself are travelling by Air China from Mumbai to Honolulu via Beijing on Dec 28. We have a 14 hour transit (arrive at 10:50am on Dec 28 and depart at 01.50am on Dec 29). I'm afraid that you could be able to visit only one place, either Badaling Great Wall or the Forbidden City, as the tourist sites usually are closed at 18:00 during the peak season and at 17:00 during the off season. There is no problem to travel as a solo traveler. I will email you the details later today. Thank you very much.
