8:30 -9:00 AM Hotel pick-up

9:30-10:30 AM Visit Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center is located in the downtown area, the People's Square. The design of the building is inspired by the traditional Chinese city gate. The modern central symmetric structure shows the aesthetic concept of China's traditional architecture. And the grid roof of the building symbolizes Shanghai’s city flower magnolia. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions of the People's Square.

10:30 - 11:40 AM Visit the Yuyuan Garden Yuyuan Garden is a famous classical garden located in Anren Jie, Shanghai. The garden was finished in 1577 by a government officer of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) named Pan Yunduan. Yu in Chinese means pleasing and satisfying, and this garden was specially built for Pan's parents as a place for them to enjoy a tranquil and happy time in their old age.

1:00 – 2:00 PM Enjoy the delicious food in the decent Shanghai restaurant

2:00-3:00pm Afternoon Stroll at the outdoor bazaar near the Yu Garden, The bazaar is not only famous tourist sites but also popular shopping attractions. There are boutiques, shops selling local specialties, as well as large jewelry stores, department stores and fabulous local snack restaurants to be found here. From the bazaar, it would takes 20 minutes’ drive away to the other famous shopping area- Xintiandi.

3:30-5:20pm Visit Xintiandi Shopping Hub- this is a must-see place you should find time to include when visiting Shanghai. After stroll at the Xintiandi area, you will be transferred to the pier at Huangpu River

5:40– 6:20 pm You will see some fabulous sights as the buildings on both sides of the river are lit up at 6 pm, with 19th century architecture on one side and 21st century skyscrapers on the other, letting you view the beautiful Bundevery night.

6:40 PM Transfer back to your hotel. We provide the free door to door transfer services during the tour, the hotel should be located within the mid-ring road in the Shanghai City. Dean Wudy was professional and an excellent tour guide! He was very helpful when we needed help with wheel chair issues. He helped us a lot through the entire trip, especially at the Great Wall. What are included in a bus tour?

How do I pay a bus tour?

For payment of our bus tour, you can prepay or pay cash on the spot when you board the bus.

When does the booking finish?

We usually finish the Bus Tour Booking before the night of your tour date, so difficult for us to tell the determine number of tourists in the tour bus, however, generally there are about 10 people on one tour bus. (May Day, or October China’s National Day, bus tourists will be more)

Any tourist shops during a bus tour?

Yes, we do arrange one or two shop stops on a bus tour, because someone in your group may need to purchase some souvenirs for their family members or friends, as well as for the help to create more jobs for the local people. But all shopping is not compulsory; you are fine with a window shopping or take the chance to fresh up. One shop takes around 40 minutes.

When and where you will be picked up?

Every morning, our tour guide will pick you up from your midtown hotel around 7:00am - 8:30am, and you will receive a call from your guide the night before the tour date for confirmation of pickup time.

When and where a bus tour finishes?

A bus tour usually finishes at around 18:00pm at your hotel.

Can I book a hotel from you?

Yes, we can help you book the hotel at the very best local price.

How to tip our tour guides and drivers?

Tipping is not compulsory, but tipping is much appreciated by the local guides and drivers if you feel they have done a good job.

Do you have group day tour conducted in Mandarin?

Sorry, we don't have group day tour conducted in Mandarin. If you could accept private tours, we could arrange Mandarin speaking guide for you.

Do I pay for these tours in US Currency at the time we take the tour or in CHY?

If you book the group day tour, you can pay in cash USD or CNY when you take the tour. If you book the group package tour, you need to pay the deposit by credit card or PayPal in advance and pay the tour balance when you take the tour.

What are special features in this small group bus tour?

1. If you stay in an apartment block, please find a nearest hotel as your pickup point;

4. Due to the fact that these tours are done by groups, hotel pickups can take time from by going from one location to another, which usually takes around half and an hour, so we need your patience and understanding.

5. In the evening before your bus tour departure, you will get a call or message from your tour guide to fix up your next morning's pickup time which is normally set around 7:00am.
