Bird Nest (National Stadium) and Water Cube (National Aquatic Center) have been the new landmarks of Beijing since the successful Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. They are included within any trips to Beijing, either for foreign tourists or Chinese travelers.

Generally, the tours are arranged to visit the Bird nest and water cube during the daytime, and take some pictures from their outside. You may just be amazed and wonder how these gigantic projects were made by people, but not surprised by their beauty. The bird nest is just so much concrete and the water cube looks lifeless.

The Bird Nest glows with its orange lighting, and it will really amaze you how striking this stadium is. Standing there in person next to this gigantic stadium made you feel somewhat small. It is only open during the daytime, so you can't go and explore it inside.

The Water Cube glows with its blue lighting and it will really amaze you with its rectangle in shape. The Water cube might even be a little understated against the back drop of the Bird’s Nest, but that’s the way the Chinese wanted it.
