It is fairly simple to build a fine hotel in Beijing: it is the people that make the difference. The Peace offers relatively inexpensive accommodation of a high standard with people who obviously enjoy their work and believe in their hotel. Friendly,helpful and efficient,the staff is a cut above those at so many other hotels in China(and the world).
The management is visible and clearly engaged in delivering a quality experience. Breakfast was well presented with a wide selection of fresh foods. The hotel is very well placed within walking distance of the Forbidden City and very close to major shops (Wangfujing St) and the famous food market. We will certainly stay there next time in Beijing and recommend it highly to our friends.

I had a wonderful time. The staff was great. The room was clean and comfortable. We loved the breakfast that we got with the room and breakfast rate. The swimming pool was nice. And of course you can't beat its location -- walking distance to lots of shopping and the Forbidden City. I will definitely stay here again if I come back in the near future!
