Stayed at the Wangfujing Crowne Plaza in Beijing over Christmas and I have to say I am glad I chose this hotel over the hotels I have stayed in the past such as the newer ones in Financial Street. The Crowne Plaza holds one of the best locations in Beijing for any travel purpose. The rooms were great, large bathrooms and comfortable beds. Staff was helpful with all our requests and the front desk had a great knowledge of the new and talked about restaurants in Beijing. Breakfast was as good as any hotel I have stayed in China and all this at a pretty reasonable room rate. Glad I found this one before leaving China as I will be there again.

Visited the hotel in November and would go back without question. The location is great - close to the shopping district (including malls & outdoor vendors) and within walking distance of Tiananmen Square & the Forbidden City. Hotel is very clean and the rooms are the same. Executive lounge is very good & the staff there are always trying to help you. Food was really good in the buffet (breakfast) with lots of options for North American food, if you wish. Staff were exceptional (as usual in Asia) and they did everything they could to accommodate you. If I was in Beijing again, in this area, would definitely stay here again. No problem recommending this to friends and family.
