Our tour guide will meet you and pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 am. Firstly you will take a stroll on Tiananmen Square. Tiananmen Square is now the biggest city square in the world. The present Tiananmen Square has an area of 440,000 square meters and has become a relaxing public plaza for the common people to fly kites and bummel. Then move on to the Imperial Palace - the Forbidden City. Forbidden City, one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, was built in the Ming Dynasty in 1421. It is the largest and the best-preserved Imperial Palace complex in the world. After lunch, drive to the beautiful Mutianyu Great Wall (80km away from Beijing downtown) have half day excursion to the Mutianyu Great Wall. Mutianyu is the most beautiful section of the all 5 sections of the Great Wall in Beijing. You can have 2-hour hike on Mutianyu Great Wall. After hiking on the Mutianyu Great Wall, return to your hotel.
