Sample Itinerary Overview
Day 1 Guiyang Arrival
Upon your arrival at the Guiyang Airport, you will be met by your guide, who will escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax. Guizhou is nicknamed 'The Kingdom of Mountains', because 87% of its land is comprised of mountains and plateaus.
Stay overnight in Guiyang.
Day 2 Guiyang ( B, L )
After breakfast, you will go to visit Huangguoshu Waterfall, located in Anshun (137km away from Guiyang, 2.5-hour drive), and then nearby Tianlong Tunpu Ancient Town where you will enjoy the local Ground Opera of Lao Han ethnic group.
Be driven back to Guiyang after the tour.
Day 3 Kaili ( B, L )
In the morning, you will be driven 220 kilometers (2.5 hours) from Guiyang to Kaili. In Kaili, you will visit Kaili Folk Museum, which give you an excellent introduction to the clothing of Guizhou's ethnic minority groups. Then you will explore the ethnic villages, Matang Gejia Village and Qingman Miao Village, which are famous for its folded silk felting.
Stay overnight in Kaili.
Day 4 Kaili ( B, L )
On this day, we will bring you to see more Miao villages around Kaili including Jidao Miao Village, Shiqiao Miao Village and Paika Miao Village.
Stay overnight in Kaili.
Day 5 Guizhou Departure ( B )
On this day, you will be free in the day before being escorted to the airport for your flight to your next destination.
