Chinese New Year Date and Zodiac Signs

Chinese New Year, the most important event of the Chinese lunar calendar which has the longest historical records datng back from 2600BC.

Chinese New Year dates often shows the dates of both the Gregorian (Western) calendar and the Chinese Lunar Calendar


Based on myths, it was said that Lord Buddha summoned all the animals on the Chinese New Year, but only 12 made it, so he named the 12 years after each of the animals. It is believe that animal ruling the year in which a person is born has a profound influence on his or her personalities.

Rat-People born this year are hardworking and ambitious leaders, Charming, Clever and Sharp and funy and Enjoys gossip.
