About:Beijing

Hi, we are planning a four days to stay in Beijing, and the tour will cover Great Wall + Ming Tombs (first day), Tiananmen Square + Forbidden City + Temple of Heaven (second day), Hutong + Summer Palace (third day). We would like to get some ideas what we can do for 1/2 day after arrving from airport at 11:00am.

Hi Tasneem, since it is your first day, and a good rest is highly suggested. Just explore the area around your hotel and have a dinner in a local fancy restaurant. If your hotel is located within 2 ring roads, take a taxi or metro to the Lama Temple then head west to the Drum Tower to walk around Houhai Lake and that area.
