About:China
Hi, I will come to Beijing probably at the beginning of January. Can I still have some snow activities in Beijing then? And I also would like to see the Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival in Harbin. Please advice, thanks!

Hi Laytheng, usually, the winter time of Beijing is from November to the late of February, so you can enjoy the snow activities in Beijing if you travel in January and the typical programmes include: the hot spring spa, skiing, and must-see attractions (Forbidden City, Great Wall, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace and more.)
As for the Harbin Ice and Snow Festival, it starts on 5, January each year and lasts to the end of February, and you may get the chance to see the opening ceremony. It is very convenient to get to Harbin from Beijing with 17 trains (taking about 10 to 19 hours) and more than 30 2-hour flights.
