Hi, can I ask you a question: I get the information that the 2015 Harbin International Ice and Snow will have a a trial operation on 25 December, 2014 and be officially open to the public on 5 January, 2015. Are tourists still allowed to visit during the trial operation? Thanks!

Dear Andrea,
Yes, actually it is the best time to visit Harbin Ice and Snow Festival, as 90% of the ice and snow carving has been finished during the trial operation period but you are entitled to 50% off the exorbitant entrance fees. And it also the Christmas period, the hotels and bars are festively decorated with much activity going on.

It was time to say farewell to Bob who we all became friends with not just a guide.
Our tour guide, Mike, made sure that we got all the meals we were promised on our itinerary and being vegetarian was not a problem as he ensured we were all well catered for.
Our travel agent, Ms Sophia, was great, and she handled at my quries promptly and effectively. I felt very free to ask any type questions. She planned the tour excellently.
