12 Days China Contrast Tour to Beijing, Xian, Shanghai and Guilin

Today's full-day excursion will take you to the majestic Badaling Great Wall (70km away from Beijing downtown). Badaling Great Wall of the Ming Great Wall is the best preserved and the most representative section. You will hike on the Badaling Great Wall for about 1 or 2 hours. After having Chinese lunch, you will marvel at the splendid Summer Palace, the former royal garden, it is the largest and most beautiful Chinese imperial garden. On the way back to your hotel, you may make a stop at the Beijing Olympic Village to take some pictures of the world-famed "Bird's Nest" and the "Water Cube" from the outside. Tonight you will taste the most famous delicious dish in Beijing, Peking Roast Duck. Enjoy yourself! Complete today's tour and driven back to your hotel.

Today our guide will pick you up at your hotel around 8:00 a.m. Firstly you will visit the world's biggest city plaza, Tiananmen Square (literally, Gate of Heavenly Peace). Subsequently you will move on to the Forbidden City, the most complete imperial palace in China. Afterwards, pay a visit to the Jingshan Park to enjoy the panorama view of the whole Forbidden City and the City of Beijing! Later you will take a rickshaw to visit the most famous Hutongs keeping the original layout in the Shichahai area. During this Hutong Tour You will visit a local family and experience what their life is like. Lunch will be arranged at a local family. If you like, you can learn to cook some Chinese dumplings by yourself. After the whole day tour, our guide will escort you to the railway station for your train to Xian.

Upon your arrival at Xian railway station, our guide will meet you and escort you to the hotel. Check-in and have breakfast at the hotel. After a short break, you will have city tour to the incredible life-size Terracotta Warriors and Horses and Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Complete the day with a savory Dumpling Dinner in a local restaurant.

Today after breakfast, you will firstly visit the Ancient City Walls and the Bell Tower(from the outside). In the afternoon, you will go to the Shaanxi Provincial Museum. After today's tour, our guide will send you back to your hotel.

Today you will be free till our guide pick you up from your hotel and escort you to the airport for your onward flight to Guilin. Upon your arrival at Guilin, the most scenic city in China, your guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day will be your own leisure, or head out into the city for a little adventure by yourself.

After breakfast, drive to Zhujiang Pier (about 40-minute drive) to start the boat cruise along the tranquil Li River which is the highlight in Guilin until you get to Yangshuo County. In Yangshuo, you will roam through the West Street and Free local market.

Today you will be free till our guide picks you up from your hotel and transfer you back to Guilin. In the afternoon, your tour in this beautiful city will include the Elephant Trunk Hill and the Reed Flute Cave. Later you will visit to the Tea Plantation and enjoy the important part of Chinese culture, the tea culture. After the tour, our guide will send you back to the hotel.

Today our guide will meet you and help you transfer to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. Upon your arrival at Shanghai, China's most cosmopolitan city, our local guide will meet you at the airport and send you to downtown Shanghai. You will later visit the Old French Concession Streets to see the old French style villas located there. Then you will go to Shanghai Dongtai Road Antique Market and it is famous for its antiques. 

Today, your tour of incredible Shanghai will firstly visit the Yu Garden and Shanghai Museum. Later you stroll along the People's Square, the Bund and the Nanjing Road.

Today you will be transferred to the Pudong international airport by Maglev Train. You will be amazed at the speed of its 430 km per hour speed. Have a nice trip!
