Itinerary day by day

Day 1: Arrive in Beijing (L)

Welcome to Beijing! After arrival, firstly clear the customs and retrieve your baggage, then go to the  Arrival Hall to meet our tour guide who is holding a sign on which it says your name. Be transferred by your private vehicle to your hotel downtown. Check in and have lunch. After the lunch break, you will be driven to the Temple of Heaven, which was constructed between 1406 and 1420 and was where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties would offer sacrifices to heaven and pray for good harvests. After the visiting, you will be accompanied by your guide and return to your hotel for a good rest.

Day 2: Beijing (B, L, D)

Today is the Mid-Autumn Festival in China. This festival is to celebrate the harvest and to enjoy the beautiful moon light. To some extent, it is like Thanks Giving day in western countries. On this day, people usually get together with their families and have a nice meal. After that, people always eat delicious moon cakes, and enjoy the moon.

Taihemen Square of Forbidden City

Meet your tour guide at the lobby in the morning. Today you will visit the Tian'anmen Square, the largest city plaza in the world. Subsequently, go on foot to the Forbidden City, the most complete imperial palace in China. Lunch will be arranged at a local family. If you'd like, the host will friendly teach you how to make Chinese dishes. After the lunch, you will take a Rickshaw to Shichahai area for a Hutong Tour. You also have the chance to appreciate the beautiful scenery along the Houhai Lake.

Subsequently, it will be the most important arrangement for today. Enjoy the Moon!!

Worship the Roundest & Brightest Moon On Mid-Autumn Day Night

You will be transferred to the Marco Polo Bridge. Have a nice dinner first, then walk over the bridge and enjoy the moon. The Moon over the Lugou (Marco Polo) Bridge at Dawn named as one of the eight famous sights in ancient Beijing.

After the tour, you will be transferred to your downtown hotel.

Day 3: Beijing (B, L, D)

Meet your guide at the lobby in the morning. Depart for the Ming Tombs. Visit the Sacred Way and the Changling one of the Ming Tombs. Then you will be transferred to the Juyongguan Great Wall. When you climb the magnificent Great Wall, you also have the chance to enjoy another classical scenery of ancient Beijing—The Great Wall Surrounded by Lush Greenery at the Juyong Pass.

There is a Chinese idiom goes like this: it is said that the moon in the day after the mid-autumn day is more beautiful. So today, you will be arranged at Juyongguan Great Wall Hotel which is built of pure lumber and is the only courtyard hotel with ancient architecture style in that area. As the night falls, you can stroll around the courtyard and appreciate the night Great Wall and the beautiful moon. 

Day 4: Beijing (B)

You guide will meet and escort you to the airport. Fly home or your next destination. Services end.
