10 Days Beijing Shanghai & around In-depth Tour

Today you will first visit the world's biggest city plaza, the Tian'anmen Square; then walk to the marvelous "Egg" (National Centre for the Performing Arts) to take some pictures from its outside. Subsequently, go to the Forbidden City, the most complete imperial palace in China; and later proceed to the impressive Temple of Heaven. After today's tour, you will be driven back to your hotel.

After breakfast, drive to the Badaling Great Wall (about 80 km, 1.5hours) where you will experience at first hand the wonder of the Great Wall. For lunch you'll sample some delicious fare in a local restaurant. Afterwards, visit the Sacred Way and Changling, one of the Ming Tombs; on the way back to your hotel, you might make a stop at the Beijing Olympic Village to take some photos of the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube from the outside; Feel a little bit tired? Not to worry! We will arrange a foot massage (free of charge) for you, just relax and enjoy it!  With a Peking Roast Duck dinner you will complete today's tour!

After breakfast, you will marvel at the exquisite Summer Palace, the imperial garden. Then head to visit the Drum Tower dating from 1420. Ascending the big Drum Tower, you will have a bird's eye view of the surrounding communities of Hutongs and Siheyuan from here. And then move on to an ordinary family courtyard home for a tea break. Afterwards, take a rickshaw to visit the most famous Hutongs keeping the original layout in the Shichahai area. Then move on to the Prince Gong's Mansion. After the tour, our guide will escort you to the airport to take a flight to Shanghai City. After hours when you arrive in Shanghai, you will be picked up by our tour guide and then transfer you to the hotel to have a good rest.

Today you will first visit the magnificent Yu Garden. Right out of the Yu Garden, you can observe local people's life at the Yuyuan Market (Yu Garden Market). Proceed to the Temple of Jade Buddha. Take a shopping bummel in the famed Nanjing Road and then down to the Bund, the Glory of Shanghai, now surrounded by about 50 various buildings of different architectural styles including Gothic, Baroque, Romanesque, Classicism and the Renaissance. Then take a Cruise on the Huangpu River.

After your breakfast, your tour guide picks you up and leads you to the railway station. Travel to  Hangzhou by train. Upon your arrival at Hangzhou, your personal guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. Then take a visit to the Six Harmonies Pagoda and the China National Silk Museum. After today's tour, you will be transferred to the hotel to have a good rest.

Lying on the west edge of Hangzhou, the West Lake is the symbol of Hangzhou as well as one of the most beautiful sights in China. After a boat cruise on the lake and a roam alongside the waterfront move on to the Lingyin Temple (Temple of Inspired Seclusion), one of the most famous ancient Buddhist temples in China. After that proceed to the Huqingyutang Museum followed by a stroll in the nearby Qinghefang Pedestrian Street. Lastly pay a visit to a famous Tea Plantage Farm.

Today, you will be escorted to the railway station to take a train to Suzhou. Upon your arrival in Suzhou first visit  the Humble Administrator's Garden which is the best representative of Chinese classical gardens in the Ming dynasty. Then drive to the Old City to visit the Water City Gate "Panmen Gate".

Visit the Tiger Hill, one of the most famous sights of Suzhou, entitled as "the most famous place in Yangtse Delta", also named "Surging Sea Hill", "Surging Sea Peak.

Then you will be driven to Wuxi. Visit the Taihu Lake with a cruise on the lake, the Yuantouzhu Park and the Li Garden.

After breakfast you'll leave for Nanjing by train. In Nanjing you'll visit the Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum, the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, the Zhonghua Gate of the city wall and wander around for business street view. After the day trip in Nanjing city, then depart from Nanjing to your next destination.
