9 Days Beijing Shanghai and Mount Huang Tour

Today you will first visit the world's biggest city plaza, the Tiananmen Square; then walk to the marvelous "Egg" (National Centre for the Performing Arts) to take some pictures from its outside; subsequently, go to the Forbidden City, the most complete imperial palace in China; and later proceed to the impressive Temple of Heaven. After the sightseeing tour driven back to your hotel.

After breakfast, drive to the Badaling Great Wall (about 80 km, 1.5hours) where you will experience at first hand the wonder of the Great Wall. For lunch you'll sample some delicious fare in a local restaurant. Afterwards, visit the Sacred Way and Changling, one of the Ming Tombs; on the way back to your hotel, you might make a stop at the Beijing Olympic Village to take some photos of the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube from the outside; Feel a little bit tired? Not to worry! We will arrange a foot massage (free of charge) for you, just relax and enjoy it!  With a Peking Roast Duck dinner you will complete today's tour!

After breakfast, you’ll marvel at the exquisite Summer Palace, the imperial garden. Your Beijing tour ends. After lunch, take a flight to Shanghai from Beijing. On your arrival at Shanghai airport, your tour guide will meet you and bring you to your hotel in Shanghai. Rest of the day is free for you to explore the metropolis.

On this day you will visit the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center, which chronicles Shanghai's past, present and future, then take a stroll through the Yuyuan Garden. After, you can observe local people's life at the Yuyuan Bazaar and immerse yourself in the peaceful atmosphere of the Jade Buddha Temple. After dinner at a local restaurant, you are escorted to enjoy the breathtaking and spectacular Shanghai Acrobatic Show.

After breakfast, you will walk down the Bund along the Huangpu River and visit Nanjing Road, and then get a bird's eye view of Shanghai from the Jinmao Tower. Be transferred to airport for your flight to Huangshan. Upon your arrival at city of Huangshan (Tunxi), our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.

After breakfast, drive 80 kilometers (1.5 hour-drive) to Huangshan Scenic Area and take the cable car at Yungu Station to the top of the mountain. After checking into your hotel and lunch, you will visit the Brush Pen Peak, tour Lion Peak and the Xihai Grand Canyon. In the evening, you will enjoy the sunset glow at the Cloud Dispelling Pavilion. Stay overnight at the summit.

Try to get up early in the morning to catch Huangshan Mountain's magical sunrise. After breakfast you will tour the Begin-to-Believe Peak to see the ancient Pines. After, you will take the cable car down to the foot of the mountain and be driven back to the city of Huangshan to visit Tunxi Ancient Street and the Inkstick Factory before being escorted to the airport for your flight back to Shanghai.

Depending on your departure flight schedule, you may pay a visit to the People's Square and the Shanghai Museum then the tour guide would escort you to the airport for the flight to your next destination.
